Delivering on our mission
Since its inception, Pectin 360 has made significant strides in building Australia’s first local pectin and fibre production capability in over four decades. Our progress demonstrates our commitment to innovation, sustainability, circular economy and sovereign manufacturing.
Key milestones
-
Secured federal government investment via grant funding to establish a state-of-the-art pilot plant ($4.9m) and validate our advanced, energy-efficient process.
-
Planning, including design and engineering, is underway for our pilot plant facility, paving the way for scalable production and customer validation of ingredients.
-
Established partnerships with growers, processors and research organisations to secure supply chains and accelerate innovation.
-
Through robust techno-economic evaluation, confirmed the efficiency of our energy-assisted technology, utilising significantly less energy compared to conventional pectin production. Yields and quality are optimised through shorter and more efficient processing.
-
Pectin 360 has been proudly selected for Hort Innovation’s prestigious AGI Build Program, recognising leadership in sustainable, IP-driven pectin and fibre innovation, supporting Australian growers and food ingredients manufacturers.
Key business support is provided through the Australian-Grown Innovation Build Program, backed by Hort Frontiers and delivered by Startupbootcamp as recognition of the innovation, business model and potential impact.
